Nano Aquascape – A great choice where space and budget is a factor
For many beginner aquascapers there are very real constraints on space and budget when considering aquascaping as a hobby. This is where a Nano Aquascape can be a great solution. Generally speaking Nano Aquariums are of a size of around 30 Litres / 7 Gallons and under. There are obviously limitations with how you populate a tank with livestock with small fishes such as Rasboras being popular, but it can be a great introduction to the hobby. With some absolutely minute examples not having any livestock at all, it’s possible to get an aquascape into some truly tiny containers, such as lightbulbs! With some of the tanks like the budget-friendly pico tanks being under 10 Litres/2 Gallon you can find a place (or two) for a Nano Aquascape in most properties.
Below is a collection of some inspiring Nano Aquascapes that really do show how much impact can be achieved in such a confined space. What are you waiting for? Go buy a Nano Aquarium and start aquascaping!
